There's nothing better to send you into a nice, deep sleep than the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. I read this every time I have had a stressful day and Reddit cannot take my mind off the day well enough to let me become comatose. SPOILER! In a discrimination case, Rule 19(a) should not be used by a defendant when trying to bring in a third-party harasser as a necessary party.
Almost makes the rule easy to use, without all the unnecessary comments from 1930 as to why the rules was updated 80 years ago. Just the rules, simple to use. Nice and compact.
This product was missing pages 87-90. Are these pages important, you might wonder? Well yes, because now I am missing the rules for default judgment and summary judgment, two key processes that improve the efficiency of our courts. The pages do not appear to have been ripped out or damaged, instead simply printed without these key pages. These rules are available online, so paying for a paper copy was due to my preference for having one physical, master copy which is no longer possible because of the missing pages.
I used this a lot. I enjoyed how clear the font read for quick reference. And then several other students noticed it and got the same one! Great for the price, too.
Nice to have a copy of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Rules of Evidence in one publication. And best of all, the price isn't outrageously expensive like most editions. I really like having this copy ready on my desk or with me in court to quickly review what I need.
