I already have several gun-themed books by Dennis Adler, and enjoy his articles in the quarterly magazine, "Guns of the Old West". This book is really great, and a must-have for the black powder revolver enthusiast. I know physical books are getting passe in this digital world, but some books just need to be held - and this is one of them. You won't be disappointed!
Well put together and as I stated it's something you would want to leave out for company to see. Photography and design are outstanding. I purchased this book and Dennis's other book Metalic Cartridge Conversions together. Both are great, alot of the infomation in Metalic Cartridge Conversions is covered in this book. If I could choose between the two I would have bought this one.Great Book!
Outstanding book. Full of colored illustrated photos. Excellent history of the Colt reproductions from Paterson to the 1862 Pocket models.
Nice book, great photos. This is a quality product with good information about percussion revolvers, also gives information about their manufacture.
What a beautiful book, It's rich in historicsl pics, I just keep it on the coffee table, cannot stop reviewing the gun pics.
The info in this book fills some of the holes in the research I have attempted on black powder repros. Well worth the price, and the pictures are incredible.
