But when their mother dies, their father decides he must marry all his daughters off before something happens to him.They are all on their way to California, something happens to the horses and Truman finds them, brings them back and instantly falls in love with Cora. But she is promised to someone else. Truman knows him and wants to find a way to keep her from marrying this other man. What does Truman know about him? Will Truman win her love or will Cora listen to her father and marry the other man? You will have to read it to find out.Now what about Grace? She has two prospective groom's. One paid the bride price, which one? One loves and talks about horses all the time. One is a Pastor in the church. Who will she choose, and why? Who would you have chosen? Who will Grace turn down?I'm sure you will adore these characters too just as much as I have. These are beautiful stories, please do yourself a huge favor and read them for yourself to find out everything that happens to them. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
What a dilemma! Their newly widowed father has gone and arranged marriages for all of his five daughters. Unfortunately, he did not consult them on his choices of grooms. How can happy marriages come from this? Great characters and storylines, just as expected from one of my favorite authors, Indiana Wake.
I really liked these books. But it is hard trying to find the other books that goes with them. All a get is available for download. Well I will keep trying.
The challenge of putting up with a father who thinks he is doing right for his daughters - but the men were no good. Glad the women were strong to face their father and challenge him
I loved this book from beginning to end. I couldn't put it down until I finished it. I almost stopped reading it though because of Abraham. What a total jerk

Good enough that I got the follow up books, says a lot for the story line.
The scars on the outside did not matter. It is what is inside that counts.
